Tapestry Dance Company - Our Family Member, Lacy Coleman, Needs our Help
Martha Coleman, Tapestry's Academy
bookkeeper,
and her two children Lacy and Jackie (Tapestry
Dance Company member) have been a part of our
dance community for many years. Their contributions
to our institution have been invaluable.
Several
weeks ago, Lacy collapsed at work with congestive
heart failure. She was rushed to St. David's Hospital
and things seemed to be under control. But then, a
terrible thing happened...Lacy had to go into
emergency brain surgery for a life threatening blood
clot. She suffered a stroke and was hospitalized in
intensive care for several weeks.
She was released from the hospital this week but
now she has a long road ahead of her. She needs
major rehab for her hand to function and for speech
therapy.
We at Tapestry want to help as much as possible
and we know how loving and caring our dance
community is so we are putting a plea out to our
patrons. We have established a Lacy Coleman Fund
at Chase bank for donations to help the family with
medical expenses. Donations can be made at any
Chase branch into this account. The account
number is 737468314. This is a tax-deductible
contribution and we hope you would join us in
supporting this family in their time of need.
