Tapestry's 2007 Summer Camp Programs
Make Dance the Highlight of the Summer
Summer Intensive
For Intermediate & Advanced Dancers (ages 13
through 18)
June 4th - 15th, Monday - Friday, 9:00am-
4:00pm
Tapestry's Summer Intensive epitomizes Tapestry's
philosophy of strong multi-form training. Dancers will
study intensively with professional ballet, jazz, tap,
modern and hip hop artists. The curriculum focuses
on rigorous technique classes designed to challenge
the young dancer to progress technically and
artistically to the next level. Students will exercise their
creative muscle in choreography class and practice
mind-body centering in yoga. This program is aimed
at dancers with at least three years of dance training
who are motivated and mature.
Camp Tapestry
For Beginning & Intermediate Dancers (ages 9
through 12)
June 18th - 29th, Monday - Friday, 9:00am-
4:00pm
Camp Tapestry is a fun and challenging camp for
young dancers who want to explore numerous dance
techniques and styles. Students will study with
professional ballet, jazz, tap, modern, and hip hop
artists. Classes also include yoga, juggling, and
folklórico. This program is for students who want a
solid introduction to various dance forms and for
those who are eager to progress to the next level. This
camp has proven to be the highlight of many a
summer!
Faculty
Our faculty are professional artists with a passion for
sharing their art form with young dancers. They
include: Deirdre Strand, Brenna Kuhn, Sharon
Marroquin, Stacie Stalmach, Andrea Williams, David
Nayer, Brittany Parks, Judy Witkin, Aminya Houston,
Christy Gorman, Marlo Harris, Rocker Veristique,
Danny Herman, Mel Glouchkova, as well as other
special guests.
The following special guests will join us:
Deirdre Strand - Co-founder of Tapestry Dance
Company and Head of the Dance Department at St.
Stephen's Episcopal School
Fees
$525 (includes a non-refundable $25 deposit)
Fees are due by May 28, 2007 (e-mail Brenna Kuhn

9846). There is a 5% discount on
tuition for siblings. Please inquire regarding room and
board possibilities.
Refund Policy:
100% minus deposit before May 15
50% minus deposit before May 31
No refunds on or after June 1
